Work Experience Opportunity

 

 

 

Albyn Housing Society is proud to be working in partnership with Cardo Scotland to offer work experience placements for our residents, creating valuable opportunities to experience what it is like to work in the gas and electrical compliance and learn more about careers in the sector.

The placement will give participants the chance to spend a week working alongside one of Cardo’s skilled trade operatives, seeing first-hand how heating and electrical safety work is carried out.

What does the placement involve?

• Spend an 8-hour working day alongside fully qualified operatives.
  See first-hand, the work involved in keeping heating and electrical systems safe.
  Find out more about the skills and qualifications needed to work in the sector.
  Gain valuable insight and practical experience that will strengthen your CV.

Who can apply?

• These placements are open to Albyn Housing Society residents who are interested in learning more about the industry and exploring a possible career in gas and electrical servicing and maintenance.
• This opportunity is especially suitable for school or college students, or anyone interested in starting a career in the sector.
• Participants will need to be able to travel to Inverness for collection at the start of the workday.
