This event has now taken place, thank you to all the tenants who joined us at The Pulteney Centre.
We'd also like to say a huge thank you to Mikeysline for their support, as well as our staff and tenant representatives.
The Pulteney Centre, Wick -25th March
Tenant Feedback has shown a desire for increased face-to-face support. In response, we are launching our ‘Tenant Roadshow’ a series of pop-up events across our communities.
We will be visiting your area on Monday 25th March between 10am and 2pm in the Pulteney Centre, Wick (Huddart Street, Wick, KW1 5BA).
This is an opportunity for a relaxed and friendly, safe space to have a face-to-face chat about any aspects of your tenancy. Given the timing of this event falling right before our annual rent increase, officers will be answering your questions related to direct debits, Universal Credit journal and any other matters you wish to discuss related to your rent.
In attendance we will have Officer’s from our Income Team, Tenancy Operations Team and a Technical Officer from our Repairs and Maintenance Department as well as 3 Tenants at the event, who will be able to tell you about their experience of getting more involved with Albyn. Please come along and meet them.
Our ‘kids corner’ will provide budding artists and creative minds with an opportunity to colour in and enter our kids competition. Additionally, we will have other arts and crafts activities to keep your children amused while you explore. Attendees will automatically be entered into a free raffle with the chance to win a large Thorntons Easter egg.
The cost-of-living crisis has affected everyone in our communities, leading to an increase in mental health challenges and representatives from Mikeysline will be on hand to discuss the support available.
We will be holding our Tenant Roadshows across the Highlands over the next 6 months, with a focus on rural areas. Please see our website for further information and your opportunities to get involved. www.albynhousing.org.uk/ways-we-can-help.
To confirm your attendance, expect an SMS text message on 21st March. This will allow us to provide accurate numbers for refreshments.
Please come along if you can and meet our Officers, it would be really great to see you!
