Inverness East - 8th July
Tenant Feedback has shown a desire for increased face-to-face support. In response, we have launched our ‘Tenant Roadshow’ a series of pop-up events across our communities. We will be visiting the East of Inverness on Monday 8th July between 12noon and 3pm at The Drumossie Hotel, (Old Perth Road, Inverness, IV2 5BE)
Our aim is to offer a relaxed and friendly, safe space to have a face-to-face chat about any aspects of your tenancy. In attendance we will have colleagues from the teams listed below, as well as a group of our involved Tenants, who will be able to tell you about their experience of working closely with Albyn, please come along and meet them.

Tenants4Tenants
Did you know Albyn has a very active group of tenants who get involved in our working practices and are the voice of our tenants? Our Tenants4Tenants Participation Group will also be at the event. They would really like to speak to you if you are interested in getting involved. The group attend meetings to discuss what Albyn are doing well, how we can improve and the scrutiny aspects of our working practices including the design of new homes.

Highland Residential Ltd
We are also pleased to be joined by our subsidiary Highland Residential Ltd who are there to offer advice on mid-market rental and the Scottish Government backed scheme on Low-cost Initiative for First Time buyers (LIFT) and factoring.
CAB
If you need advice, information or guidance our local citizens advice bureau for detailed information on a wide range of topics, including guidance on benefits, debt, money, employability, and much more.
Mikeysline
The cost of living crisis has affected everyone in our communities and can be a challenging time for many. We are pleased to be working in partnership with Mikeysline who are a mental health charity who have expanded their reach in the Highlands. One of their representatives will be on hand to discuss available support.
Changeworks
We are pleased to also be in partnership with Changeworks, a leading environmental charity who will also be attending this event and can provide advice and support on:-
- Saving energy and reducing bills in the home.
- Best use of your heating systems.
- Understanding fuel bills, ways to pay for your energy and managing fuel debt.
- Advocacy in dealing with your energy supplier, for vulnerable and fuel poor households.
Community Police – Inverness
We are pleased to also have in attendance the local community Police. They are on hand at the event to identify and solve problems in our communities you may wish to discuss in a private, informal setting.
NHS Occupational Therapy – Adaptations
Newly introduced to our Roadshow/pop up event are NHS OT. They are keen to discuss and identify future aspects of adaptations to ensure you are able to remain in your home.
Kids Corner
We have a kids corner which will provide budding artists and creative minds with an opportunity to colour-in, read some books (which they can take home) keeping your children amused while you explore.
We will also be giving the children beach balls and buckets ‘n’ spades - Let’s hope we enjoy some sunny weather during the holidays.
Refreshments of tea, coffee and pastries will be provided and appropriate refreshments for the little ones. We like to give out prizes and there will be a kids competition prize up for grabs. We will also be holding a prize draw for each tenant that attends with a chance to win a £25 voucher of your choice.
