Annual General Meeting 2018: Outcomes

We held our Annual General Meeting last night (11 September).

Those attending heard a thought-provoking talk made by our Guest Speaker Ruth Webster, regarding Mikeysline and the work of the Hive Project.

Our Board Chair Douglas Russell gave a positive update on Albyn’s progress during the last year, and he thanked the staff for their hard work in achieving this.

At the meeting two Board members stood down in accordance with the Society’s Rules and both were re-elected.  They were: Sandy Gracie and Ian Fosbrooke.  Three Board members had retired during the year.  This left us with five Board vacancies.

June Carr was voted on to the Board as a full member (she was formerly a co-option).

In addition, two new Board members were appointed.  They are: Lynne Clow and Lisette Howlett.  Lynne works as Senior Vice-President in Human Resources and Communications for KCA Deutag.  Lisette is Managing Director of two businesses, MLH Global and Sandler Training.  We welcome both to the Board.
