Our commitment to publish

We are committed to being transparent about the way we work, the decisions we make and the services we provide.

We want to make sure the information we publish is easy to find, so we have adopted the Model Publication Scheme set out by the Scottish Information Commissioners Office to comply with the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002. The Act gives the public the right to access recorded information held by public bodies. We are also bound by the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 which gives the public the right to access environmental information we hold.

Our guide to the information we publish also includes the environmental information we publish. This guide sets out how to access information and details any potential charges associated with accessing the information. Our Publication Scheme sets out 9 classes of information we publish which will help you to easily access information.
