Job Vacancy: KTP Associate in Machine Learning and IoT
Albyn are partnering with The School of Computing at Robert Gordon University (RGU) to appoint a Knowledge Transfer Partner (KTP) Associate with experience in Internet of Things (IoT), Software Engineering and Machine Learning. The KTP Associate will develop new IoT solutions for monitoring the health of residents in a Smart Home environment. They will help develop and deploy a platform that can proactively identify and address changes in tenants’ health.
You will transfer and embed knowledge on ambient IoT sensor platform development and state-of the art machine learning techniques to Albyn Housing.
In addition to the delivery of the technical elements of the project, you will also deal with and address problems that may affect the achievement of the KTP project objectives and deadlines, carry out administrative tasks related directly to the delivery of the project and the associated knowledge transfer.
You will also develop technical and personal skills (verbal and written) as required with increasing responsibility as experience level develops through the duration of the project.

Full time fixed term – 36 months
Location
Hybrid; Albyn’s premises in Invergordon & Inverness, from home with planned travel to RGU in Aberdeen for specific project phases.
Qualifications
BSC, MSC or PHD in Computing, AI, Data Science or closely related discipline.
