Survey reveals that our tenants are happy
Almost 90 percent of our tenants are happy with both their home and their neighborhood, according to our latest survey.
But the survey did reveal that while over 90 per cent of our tenants are satisfied with the value for money of the rent charged, one in four people have recently encountered financial pressure, with many cutting back on non-essential purchases, reducing energy use and cutting food bills.
Calum Macaulay, our Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to receive another extremely positive result in our Tenant Satisfaction Survey. In the last few years we have restructured our housing team to provide a better service to our tenants and the survey results suggests our tenants like what we are doing.
“But we are worried about increasing poverty in a number of households. Last year we set up a Tenancy Sustainment team. The team helps our tenants manage their finances and find their way through crisis or change. We are also investing in energy efficiency and trying to help households reduce fuel bills through careful energy use.
“Albyn supports over 2,500 households all around the Highlands and we are committed to supporting both individuals and communities. This survey allows us to monitor how we are performing.”
The Tenant Satisfaction Survey was carried out by Research Resource. Almost 1,000 households responded.
